District 1
District 1 is located in the southeastern corner of Kittson County. It consists of Arveson and Deerwood Townships and the City of Karlstad. The current commisioner is Craig Spilde. Craig has served Kittson County as District 1′s Commissioner since 2005. He is a lifelong resident of Kittson County and is a retired Kittson County Deputy Sheriff. Craig and his wife Judi reside east of Karlstad.
