District 2
District 2 is located in the southwestern corner of Kittson County. It consists of Thompson, Hazelton, South Red River, Skane, Tegner, Teien, Svea, Davis and Springbrook townships and the cities of Donaldson and Kennedy.
John Wayne has served Kittson County as commissioner since 2001. John Wayne is a lifelong resident of Kittson County. He is actively engaged in farming and has served as a Director of the PKM Electric Cooperative. John Wayne and his wife Pam reside southeast of Hallock. He and his wife have 3 children.

Delegate: Association of MN Counties, Employee Relations, Local Board of Health, Mar-Kit Landfill Joint Powers Board, Transportation Advisory Committee, General Government, Judicial Ditch #33 Drainage Authority and Kittson County Loan Pool Representative
