District 4

District 4 is lcated in the northeastern corner of Kittson County.  It consists of Caribou, McKinley, St Joseph, Peatland, Cannon, Poppleton, Klondike, Percy Hazelton, Pelan and Jupiter townships along with the cities of Lake Bronson and Halma.

Leon Olson has served the County as the District 4 Commissioner since 2005.  He is a lifelong resident of Kittson County.  Leon is a farmer and a mechanic.  He has worked as a mechanic in Greenbush and MCI.  Leon and his wife Bonnie reside east of Lancaster.  They have 3 sons and 6 grandchildren.
